Q: How long does it take to get a Visionaire FX system?
A: The standard lead-time can be as short as 2 to 4 weeks. This includes the finalization of the design, assembly of the architectural components, consolidation of all the parts, shipping to the home and a few days of installation.

Q: Sometimes it is hard for me to understand conversation during a movie in my untreated home theater. Why?
A: Without the sort of acoustic control that is provided by Visionaire FX, the frequencies of sound in the movie dialogue can be overwhelmed by the sound frequencies occurring in the rest of the movie soundtrack.

Q: What kind of electronics are available?
A: We at VFX have put together a proprietary system which comes direct from Sony, the premier electronics company. This proprietary package is the only intrastate package available from Sony.

Q: I have a satellite TV system. How does it connect?
A: There are inputs available for satellite TV and cable through the VCR. Also, the amplifier / receiver accepts inputs from video games.

Q: What are my seating choices?
A: After many tests on a variety of people, VFX recommends Berkline micro suede Recliners. The colors for the recliners are designed to match your system. Our design team has even pre-selected colors for each VFX theater solution!

Q: Can the theater be customized to different room sizes?
A: Of course! VFX solutions can be custom engineered for virtually any room. However, we would recommend a minimum room size of 12' wide x 14' long and larger for dedicated theater applications.

Q: What is required to prepare the area for a Visionaire FX system? Is it complicated?
A: No, it is not complicated at all. With the plug and play surface mount concept, your builder does minimal site preparation. A short synopsis for the builder is:
1. Install electrical outlets and the track lighting.
2. Paint the walls and ceiling to match the Visionaire FX design.
3. Install the floor covering.

Q: How long does an installation take?
A: It depends upon the features and the room sizes chosen, but a typical installation takes 3 days after the materials arrive at your home.

Q: What if I move? Can I take the system with me?
A: VFS system is mobile if you move to a new home.  Our certified crew will take down your system and move it to your new home.
